i'll make this annual.

+ : bicycle fenders, double picture spectras, that time the sky was yellow, coffee table books (mary-kate and ashley's 'influence' !!!), pam and jim, catch phrases, demetri martin (where is he ??), themed mixes, the whole instant film genre, 8mm cameras, festive for no reason, lists (i.e. to-do, to-make, to-get, idea(s), playlists), lomo, new kicks, christian joy, vintage lingerie (or anything for that matter), this guy, and book nerds (like me).

- : 8am, current employer, suburbia, mars volta's newest, the hills (gag me), economy, ball hot temperatures, the faux hawk, 'that's what she said'-give it a rest? (i need to put it to bed as well), hang nails, shia haters, jon stewart (he's not funny!), irrelevant word users because they are victim of mountebankery, by yourself tuesdays, and cranky carl's.

wotapa.

If you've got a sense of humor at all you're a fan of Judd Apatow. Whether or not you know who he is, your subconcious loves him because he happens to be the guy who blessed your zaniness with 'Anchorman', 'Superbad', 'Knocked Up', etc. Not to mention the way your heart melts again and again (in a way that it didn't in arrested developement) for adorkable Michael Cera.

Apatow has created a clan of his own that is almost as influential as the Coppola's (in another way, ofcourse). Comedic geninuses such as, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Greg Motolla, Bill Hader, and Evan Goldberg, amongst others are all apart of this hilarious coterie that never stops giving. Judd and his boys are kind of changing comedy by making us see the hilarity in the subtlties of life and helping even those of you who hate dry humor (but why???) to covet that ishnit.

In case you didn't know already our buddy-o-pal Mr. Judd and his crew have something dazzling and spicy up their sleeves for us in 2009 !! They are presenting to us, 'Funny People'. Jason Schwartzman, Jonah Hill, Adam Sandler (eh), Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann and Eric Bana are all included, and if that's not enough to piss your pants, it's a comedy that centers around stand-up comedy. Genius right? Well, apparently somewhere in there a person has a near death experience which leads critics to believe it's a 'dramaedy', and that it has more of a touching ending opposed to what we're used to.

Personally, I feel like all of his films end with you feeling warm inside. *SPOILER ALERT !!* I mean, remember how your stomach fluttered for chubby Seth Rogan and bitchy Katherine Heigel when they ended up together in the end in their cute little apartment (which included an 'Eternal Sunshine' poster in the baby's room !), and when Jonah Hill became oddly endearing when he couldn't help but to look back at his best friend Michael Cera in that last scene? All of their movies have all of those key elements, but somehow keep the perfect balance so that you're continuing to laugh.

So to end the rant, look for these movies in the near future.
-The Green Hornet
-Pineapple Express
-Seth and Jay vs. The Apocalypse
-Anchorman 2
-Fanboys
-Year One (Michael Cera and Jack Black !)
-Step Brothers

p.s. please dl cryptacize. you'll love me long time.
